The UN Women Care & Climate Entrepreneurship Accelerator is a specialised programme designed to create new jobs and better livelihood opportunities for women by supporting diverse small enterprises operating in the climate sector and care sector across South and Southeast Asia. The programme provides enterprises essential business support, mentorship, and access to specialised climate and care networks.
The programme will identify and nurture 25 high-potential enterprises across South and Southeast Asia.
The accelerator will provide bespoke, intensive acceleration for 12 months.

This accelerator offers bespoke, intensive acceleration support through gender-responsive interventions designed to address the unique needs of enterprises in the climate and care sectors. Selected enterprises will have the opportunity to participate in two in-person learning events, providing collaborative learning opportunities and access to an exclusive network of industry leaders and potential partners.

The programme focuses on providing investment readiness support and access to networks to enterprises. Only few enterprises (out of the 25 selected for the programme) will be eligible for grants.
Yes, the accelerator provides access to networks of gender-lens investors, climate finance providers, and other relevant funders, including opportunities to pitch to potential investors.
